Group A and Group B each have 60 students. All students in both groups were asked to rate a book on a scale from 1 through 6. The results are summarized in the frequency table.

which statement correctly compares the Group A median rating to the Group B median rating?

A). The Group A median rating is equal to the Group B median rating.
B). The Group A median rating is greater than the Group B median rating.
C). The Group A median rating is less than the Group B median rating.
D). There is not enough information to compare the median ratings.

Hi MD. Are you taking a math class? If so, what have you learned about 'median' so far?

If you haven't learned about it, yet, you could search online. For example, a basic introduction appears on this page.

If you're stuck listing the 60 ratings in order (for each group), the chart tells us that the first 11 numbers in list A are ones, the next 15 numbers in that list are twos, the next 16 numbers are threes, the next 11 numbers are fours, the next 3 numbers are fives and the last 4 numbers are sixes. List B is constructed the same way.
