I'm comparing the exact same substance/wt per volume to another.... .2mg/L compared to 25mcg/.5 ML. I'm aware that the first mentioned, is greater than the 2nd, I have the conversion tables, but I what to be absolutely sure...no room for error....how much greater of a concentration is the first substance than the second? I'm looking for an answer of, i.e. 50%, 100% etc....let me know what you come up with. I appreciate your help. thanks.

… comparing the exact same substance/wt per volume … This looks like substance per weight per volume, to me, but I know that's not what you mean.

... .2mg/L compared to 25mcg/.5 ML … (It's good practice to write 0.2 for two-tenths, especially when preceeded by periods.)

… I'm aware that the first mentioned, is greater than the 2nd … Nope. 8-)

1 milligram per liter = 1 microgram per milliliter

0.2 mg/L = 0.2 mcg/ml

25 mg/0.5 L = 25 mcg/0.5 ml

Hi, thanks for the reply. I do want to know the substance per wt per volume. So based on your reply, is there no difference between the substance per wt per volume between these two? Isn't the 2nd substance .0048 greater per wt per volume than the first?

You need to convert mcg/ml to mcg/(0.5 ml) - then compare.
