A game at a fund-raising event involves throwing a dice twice and adding the scores together. The player wins a prize if the total is 11 or more. It costs £2 to play the game and there are 20 prizes to be won. Explain why the stall can expect to take about £480.

"a dice" - Please try to use words that make sense. "a" - singular, "dice" - plural.

This is a standard, six-sided die with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 printed on individual sides? Does it matter if we roll one die twice, or can we roll two, together?

What is the probability of achieving 11 or 12 on the total of the two dice? This will help you on your way.

You roll one die twice, sorry for being unclear I just copied what the question said. It is a standard 6-sided die. On the total is a 2/12 to get 11 or more (11 and 12). I think it has to be one die twice, not two together.

Please write down all the outcomes when you are rolling one die twice.

Please write down all the outcomes when you are rolling two dice together.
