Please help
HINT: \(\dfrac{4}{5}=\dfrac{80}{100}\)Andy read 4/5th of a story book which has 100 pages. How many pages of the book is not yet read by Andy?
Means you have to say that 4/5 of 100, which gives 80. Means 80 out of 100 pages have been read.. & 20 pages have not been read.Ok forget Andy. Imagine you are reading the book. Its got 100 pages. If you've read 4/5 of the pages, what fraction of the pages haven't you read?
How many pages is that?
Thanks.. i got what you want to say like..for 5 pages 1 page is unread, for 10 pages 2 pages are unread likewise if a book has 100 pages then 20 pages are unread..It may help to simplify:
Let's say the book has 5 pages. How many left? How did you get the answer?
What if it has 10 pages? And 100?
Thanks.. got it..HINT: \(\dfrac{4}{5}=\dfrac{80}{100}\)
