Write a single Logarithm: 2logb x-4logby

These Logs have me stuck! Can I please have some help...

Did your class and/or textbook not cover log rules...? :shock:

The rules are as follows:

. . . . .log<sub>b</sub>(m) + log<sub>b</sub>(n) = log<sub>b</sub>(mn)

. . . . .log<sub>b</sub>(m) - log<sub>b</sub>(n) = log<sub>b</sub>(m/n)

. . . . .log<sub>b</sub>(m<sup>n</sup>) = n log<sub>b</sub>(m)
