I cannot seem to solve this problem. I think that I am trying to figure it all wrong. I need help. Here is the problem: Write the below equation in standard form using only integers. y=4x/5+2/3
Here is what I have been trying; y=4x/5+2/3
-4x/5+y=4x/5+2/3-4x/5
-4x/5+y=2/3
That is as much as I can solve.

y = 4x/5 + 2/3

multiply every term by the LCD of 3 and 5 (that would be 15, correct?) ...

15y = 15(4x/5) + 15(2/3)

15y = 12x + 10

0 = 12x - 15y + 10
