Does not make any sense to me!

makes no sence to me neither all it says is
a square shape this sign ..... <...... another square shape

Whatever this exercise might be asking for, it obviously isn't asking for pairs of square numbers (such as 9, 16, 49, etc) which differ in size. How numbers might otherwise be equated with "squares", I can't guess. :shock:

It is unfortunate that there were no instructions and that this was not covered in the textbook or in the class. Lacking any idea what the author is talking about, I'm afraid there is no way for us to advise.

I believe the "squares" are just boxes serving as a space to write in ... she is probably supposed to fill in each box with any pair of numbers such that the inequality is true.
