The perimeter P of a rectangle is given by 2l+2w=P, where l is the length of the rectangle and w is the widthPlease post original problem exactly as it appears in your book...
The problem says the perimeter of a rectangle is 2l+2w=p, and it says the perimeter is 30 inches. So 2l+2w=60, it wants me to write that in standard form, but i am confused.
Boy oh boy...the perimeter of a rectangle = 2(L + W).
Over and out.
The answer was x+2y=12Was that really the question? You are given the perimeter value so you have
2L + 2W = 30
or
2 (L+W) = 30
or
L + W = 15
or
...
Which is the standard form?
BTW: For the original po9ster; do you have the answer now? If so, what was it?
