Welcome, 2020.
Many tech deadlines are supposed to materialize in you. Do not disappoint.
:p How many times do us Physicists have to explain that no, we are not going to have hoverboards any time soon! ("Back to the Future" reference.)

@topsquark, technically, the hoverboard has already been created. Lexus made one then Greg Henderson made one. I almost made one with a group of friends and a few sponsors but it exploded along with all $2300 of electronics. Then we decided to abort the project.

I heard about Greg Henderson's board.
I do believe that he meant a hoverboard, not a droneboard. Multiple people have used air, but none have used the silly sci-fi looking waves.
