The \(\displaystyle x\text{-interrcept is }(6,0)\) and the \(\displaystyle y\text{-interrcept is }(0,-9)\).What is the slope of the line: x/6 - y/9=1?
\(\displaystyle \text{Find the slope of this line: }\:\dfrac{x}{6} - \dfrac{y}{9} \:=\:1\)
I think it is 6, after converting it to y = mx +b.
That is the correct procedure . . . but how did you get 6?
