H humakhan Junior Member Joined May 19, 2005 Messages 182 Sep 17, 2006 #3 ok here is what i have done.... 4^-1 x^-2 y^3 / 2^2 (xy)^-4 y^3(xy)^4 / 4x^2 2^2 y^3(x^4y^4) / 4x^2 4 cross out 4 leaving 2 and the other 4 and cross out 2 y ^ 3 + 4 x^2 / 16 y^7 x^2 / 16 anwer equals Y^7X^2/16
ok here is what i have done.... 4^-1 x^-2 y^3 / 2^2 (xy)^-4 y^3(xy)^4 / 4x^2 2^2 y^3(x^4y^4) / 4x^2 4 cross out 4 leaving 2 and the other 4 and cross out 2 y ^ 3 + 4 x^2 / 16 y^7 x^2 / 16 anwer equals Y^7X^2/16
