Math Games

Practicing math doesn't have to mean worksheets. These sites offer free, browser-based games worth your time — no Flash, no downloads required.

Games and Puzzles

CoolMath Games — One of the most popular math game sites around. Heavy on logic puzzles, strategy games, and number challenges. Genuinely fun even when you're not thinking about the math.

FunBrain — A long-running educational site with math games covering arithmetic, fractions, and basic algebra. Good for middle school and younger.

Prodigy Math — A curriculum-aligned RPG where you answer math questions to progress through the game. Popular in classrooms, free to play.

Mathigon — Interactive lessons and puzzles covering everything from arithmetic to topology. More educational than game-like, but very well done.

NYT Games — The New York Times Games section includes several number and logic puzzles worth a daily look. Wordle gets the attention, but the math-adjacent games are just as good.
